Poppy was taken with another rabbit from a meat breeder by a gentleman wishing to save them. He thought he had 2 male rabbits, but that was not the case. Poppy came to us 4 weeks after giving birth to 8 babies, but sadly 2 did not make it before they got to us. She arrived dehydrated and malnourished and needed IV fluids and an emergency spay to recover. She was a very good mama to her babies, but is now happy to be free from repeated breeding and is ready to settle into the life of a spoiled house rabbit. Poppy enjoys toys such as willow balls, grass mats, acorns and wood toss toys. She LOVES her greens and willow is a great treat. She's learning to eat more hay and has fabulous litter habits. She is easy to handle and has displayed zero aggression while here. She is a world-class flopper and binkies when she has more room to run. She will be an excellent bonding candidate for a neutered male. As of Jan 8, 2021, she is estimated at 11-13 months old. Poppy would love to find a family to love her and give her the life of a spoiled house rabbit- she's earned it.
Her adoption fee is $80. Adopters must be at least 18 years old; primary caretaker must be an adult.

NOVA & KIA
DOUBLE YOUR FUN!! TWINS!
Nova and Kia are 2 of the babies that were rescued with mama Poppy. These girls are playful and friendly. Nova is the bigger sister and loves climbing all over her human- she may have been a monkey or parrot in a past life! Kia is the more cuddly of the pair. If you sit on the floor, she loves to lay right up against you for pets. They both love to explore and jump onto whatever is in their path! They are good hay eaters and are still growing into adulthood. These sweeties are overlooked because of being REWs (red eyed whites) and we're hoping someone can see them for the beautiful bunnies with great personalities that they are!
Their adoption fee is $120. Adopters must be at least 18 years old; primary caretaker must be an adult.

PICKLES
Pickles is a 4-year old neutered boy who has spent most of his life in a cage. Despite his captivity, he is a total lover! He adores humans and wants nothing more than to sit by you and be petted. Well, he also REALLY wants to run around! After all those years cooped up, he is so happy to have space to run! He does amazingly cute binkies and can even hop up onto a pretty-tall bed! Perhaps best of all...he has great litter habits! He has not had one accident in his foster home, even before his neuter, and he keeps a neat pen. He enjoys tunnels and toys he can pull on. Pickles is a great eater and loves having a routine for feeing and getting playtime. Like most rabbits, Pickles does prefer to move on his own; he's not a fan of being picked up. Pickles has not been around other bunnies, but his easygoing personality and age may make him a good candidate for a bunny friend. Someone please adopt him before his foster mom falls any more in love with him!!

EMBER
Ember was left in a rural area to fend for herself, likely an Easter dump. Some folks that live nearby noticed her hanging around outside. After several weeks, they were able to catch her (something of a miracle based on the huge amount of open land) and took her to a nearby farm where the kind owners agreed to look after her. There she became the "barn bunny" living in with goats and chickens - not an ideal situation for a domestic rabbit. That's when we were contacted to step in and of course we had to help this sweet girl! Ember has been vet checked and spayed and is looking for her forever home. She happily greets her foster family each day, running to the gate to meet them. She loves attention and would like a human to call her own. She's the kind of girl that would love to spend evenings sitting on the couch next to "her" human watching Netflix while being petted. Her previous life seems to have taught her that she'd rather not be around other rabbits, so she'll do best as an only bun, but she doesn't seem to mind the sweet dog in her foster home. She has free roam of a large bedroom and hasn't chewed the baseboards or furniture and has excellent litter box habits.
At this time, we have been taking a hiatus. If you are looking for the perfect rabbit for your family, please check out these fabulous rescues:
Frank
This absolutely adorable Holland Lop boy is part of an "oopsie" litter that turned into another "oops" litter. We stepped in before there are even more whoopsies. Frank has not had much space to develop his personality and will blossom with more one-on-one attention and space to run and explore. He doesn't seem fazed by much and he likes boxes, lots of greens, is a good hay eater, and has excellent litter habits.
Frank has many siblings that will also be looking for homes.
